Velcome Back!

Halloween is just around the corner and Jack is in full swing of it all! He has his costume all ready, loves trying to scare us and even is enjoying a few Halloween movies (and not getting up in the middle of the night!)

Stay with me for the rest of the story..need to give you some background!

There is a trend out there right now with LARGE knitting.

In order to achieve this blanket, you need LARGE knitting needles and LARGE yarn!

I saw this yarn at a local store and thought it would be fun to use as a bow/ribbon on a gift. NOT. It’s WAY to large. So it has sat on my desk.

Until Jack found a Halloween use for it…

Well, glad that it hasn’t gone to waste! So much for being inspired in a crafty manner with the yarn. And I think Jason and Jack need to stop watching so many scary movies…

PS…you see I said Jason and Jack about the movies. Sam and I don’t do scary movies. Unfortunately, Sam went over to a friends house Saturday night and they (the girls) decided to watch a scary movie…a really creepy movie. He excused himself and went outside to text Jason and I…“What am I suppose to do? I can’t stay outside for two hours!”  Well, after giving him several options, he went back inside and watched the movie with his eyes shut. (Come to find out, he wasn’t the only person that wasn’t too happy about watching a scary movie…funny though, it was all the boys that were more scared!!)

When I picked Sam up, first words out of his mouth, “Well, there goes my sleep for the next month!”  Which really means: I will be downstairs waking you up with each noise I hear until I fall sound asleep and if I do wake up, I will let you know that I am awake by texting you until you answer and if you don’t answer, I will stand by your bed until you wake up in start screaming “SAM WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” and then I will run out of the room then right back in, because it is too scary to run upstairs alone.

Which, is exactly what happened. At 1:52 am Sunday morning. One night down, many more to go.
