Treadmill Tricks…

Hello!

Jason and I headed up to Minneapolis Saturday night to see Justin Timberlake in St. Paul. Don’t worry, we had all sorts of arrangements, back up plans and parents checking on the boys! 😁

I texted/checked in wtih the boys through the evening asking what they up to. At one point I received this picture.

Yep. They were shooting Teddy Graham off the treadmill into their mouths.

Thank goodness my biggest worry for the night was hoping they were smart enough not to get their faces wiped off by the treadmill.

Could be worse. 🤨

ISU Homecoming!

Welcome Back!

This weekend, we headed up to our old stomping grounds, Iowa State, for the homecoming football game. The weather was absolutely perfect for  tailgating with friends and a football game, unfortunately, the game was far from  perfect!

The last game we all went together was back in 2012! Sam was 10 and Jack was 7. (sniff…times does go by so fast)

We had great seats for the game. When the game wasn’t going so well, I had plenty of people watching to do! In the lower left corner, the defensive coaches would hold their hands up and then it looked like they would break out into a dance. Sam and I called them “The Dancing men.” At one point, a couple of the players had a big yelling match. Like I said, fun people watching.

Just have to say when you get up that early, by 1:00pm you are done! And by 9:00pm, you are in bed….fast asleep! Jason and I decided that we are old when one day (without drinks) wipes us out. Oh…to be young again!

Welcome Back!

Do you buy a specific souvenir when you go to visit a place or when you are on vacation? We do. We buy Koozies! You are always able to find one, whether you are on vacation or at a concert…it’s an excellent little souvenir.

The other day we found the perfect little Koozie for Jason and could not pass up purchasing this fancy little number! It’s a family favorite.

Then the other day, Jack was working hard on a project. When he was done, he had made his own Koozie out of duck tape! Perfect for little beverages!

I must share our drink buddies that we have been using at the pool. These little guys have been a great conversation piece and you know exactly which guy, I mean drink, is yours!
